Your responsibilities

  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets

  • Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team, as required

  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables

  • Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization

  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables

  • Implement business transformations following Scrum, Agile, PMP or other relevant PM methodologies & deliver on CI initiatives using Lean Sigma methodology

  • Drive Change management & communication plans

  • Develop & manage integrated project plan for Alcon T&CI team

  • Define, design and develop key process transformation areas required to enable successful organizational set-up and implementation

  • Define, design and execute governance model for various programs

  • Collaborates with all business stakeholders to ensure smooth & effective integration of the T&CI implementation for Alcon

  • Identify future opportunities where T&CI team can add value to Alcon

  • Prepare annual T&CI business plan and build budget for approvals

  • Propose and support implementation of business solutions aligned to organizational objectives

  • Partner with business engagement leads & business functions in business case preparation

  • Execute assigned Transition/Transformation/ System/Process implementation & CI projects for Alcon within budget and at expected level of quality

  • Follow a structured approach /methodology when implementing assigned pro-jects

  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance in execution of Transition & Trans-formation projects

  • Initiate standardization and promote a standard and systematic approach to continuously improve business practices and performance

  • Participate and provide necessary supporting documentation for Internal Audits

  • Drive Change management & communication plans

  • Bring in/share industry best practices for your projects execution

  • Present at Steering Committee meetings project status/updates and maintain project reports

  • Collaborate & partner with Finance to keep up-to-date project financial reports & create business case for new projects

  • a one year fixed term contract with the opportunity to be extended

Our requirements

  • Knowledge of project management; able to work with deadlines while managing multiple tasks with constantly shifting priorities

  • +3 years of project manager experience

  • +1/2 years’ experience in a SSC/GBS centers

  • Experience in a matrix environment; self-starter

  • Excellent English both spoken and written , additional language competency is a plus.

  • Creative, confident, collaborative, problem solver and self-starter who is an adept multi-tasker.

  • Excellent writing and communications skills

  • Comfort providing guidance and feedback to senior executives.

  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, adapt quickly and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator - comfortable and effective in working with multiple stakeholders

The Project manager we are looking for will lead and manage project(s) within the area of Transformation and Continuous Improvement.

the main scope of the role is to take care of planning, organizing and controlling: resources, procedures, timing for an administrative or business processes.

Please note that for this role, we are offering a 1 year fixed term contract with the opportunity to be extend it.
