Main responsibilities of Project Manager are:
- managing project scope, cost and schedule;
- managing contractual deliverables, which includes: integrating work breakdown structures, applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, financial and technical risk management;
- managing all project resources (including subcontractors and remote delivery resources where applicable);
- establishing effective communication among the members of the project team and the client;
- providing day to day direction to the project team and communicating regular project status to the client.
- supporting program management, project portfolio management and project management office;
- providing big-picture assistance to the organization and manage all aspects of related projects to ensure alignment of the overall program with strategic business objectives;
- estimating and developing detailed project plans for all phases of the project;
- identifying resources and budgetary requirements to make sure the team achieves the project goals within the planned time-frame;
- monitoring, tracking, and controlling outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables;
- developing and executing a communication plan for all different project stakeholders;
- managing contractual deliverables, which includes integrating work breakdown structures, applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, financial and technical risk management;
- managing all project resources, including subcontractors and remote delivery resources where applicable;
- providing day to day direction to the project team and communication project status to the client;
- providing leadership by building and motivating project teams to meet their project goals by adhering to their responsibilities and reaching their milestones.
Project Manager:
- project management experience (preferable in IT environment)
- proficiency in verbal and written English
- practical knowledge of common project management methods and standards (Agile, PMI)
- ability to lead and coordinate a project team’s overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables
- excellent time management, organization & communication skills
- leadership skills, proactive way of working and can-do approach
- project management experience in IT environment and experience in IT industry
- proficiency in verbal and written English
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- leadership skills and proven experience in building and managing virtual IT teams, ability to lead and motivate the project team to the defined target in a complex and dynamic environment
- experience in working with external and internal customers
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- comfortable with working under pressure with time constraints
- Project Management certifications e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, AgilePM, or other equivalents
- technical knowledge across various IT areas
- technical experience in the following areas:
- Hybrid Cloud (incl. AWS, Azure), RedHat, Ansible, Network, Mainframe or ServiceNow
- strong customer/ 3rd parties management skills
- ITIL Service Management qualification (as a plus)
- team management experience
- managing the full project life cycle
- leading / participating in IT infrastructure projects / application deployment
- ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
- proficiency in other languages (German, French, Dutch, Italian, Danish, Spanish as a plus)
