Join us as a Senior Project Coordinator
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Senior Project Coordinator to join our Fund Services & CRM Systems team. In this role your primary responsibility will be to support day to day activities of the Fund Services and CRM Systems applications teams, including but not limited to financial management, vendor management, resource management, and risk management. This role will also play a critical role in supporting the teams with ad-hoc strategic projects and management reporting requests.
The individual will lead effective meetings with their supported application teams to gather updates, validate and document key stats and metrics, and provide support for any other needs that help them run their teams and projects successfully. The Senior Project Coordinator will work alongside other project managers in the team to ensure efficient processes are in place to produce strategic presentation materials that facilitate regular department wide leadership and project management meetings.
Your responsibilities
Plan meetings, prepare materials, and lead meetings with application teams, systems groups, and sometimes vendors
Work closely with application teams and inter-department colleagues to ensure all relevant data is updated and regularly maintained as close to real time as possible and in accordance with firm and department policies
Develop clear, concise status documentation to facilitate frequent PMO discussion and various management and department level reporting requirements
Review and stream line functional PMO tasks for maximum efficiency, including increased automation where applicable
Manage technology budgets for supported areas and applications, including resource, software and other vendor costs
Vendor management for supported software supporting business areas and applications
Act as the primary point of contact for application teams for any program management related issues/questions
Provides coaching and training to more junior Systems Business Analyst, when needed
Review and assist in development of project plans and project workflows, sometimes in conjunction with an assigned Project Manager on larger projects
Inter-department coordination as needed on special projects, etc.
Our requirements
BA/BS degree and/or related work experience
5+ years of project or program management experience
Skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure
Strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with application teams, business partners, and department managers
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc)
Strong experience with creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong experience with tools such as SharePoint and JIRA
Demonstrated planning, organization, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and increased automation
Exposure to project work and project planning, as well as project management software
Aptitude for numbers, accuracy and organization
Strong relationship management skills
Experience in the financial services industry preferred
