We are building a direct sales team in Poland and are looking for Technical Sales Consultants to cover different territories (East, North, West, South of Poland) with the entire Phenomenex product portfolio.

As our new Sales Consultant you will be responsible for a dedicated territory as will be building relationships with existing customers and identifying potential customers to expand our presence on the Polish market. This is a great opportunity to start in a newly established team with huge growth potential within your territory.

In this role you will work closely with and will be supported by Administration team, technical Department, Application Specialists, Marketing, Business Development.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct on-site customer visits to provide technical information with regards to chromatography related products and services
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers
  • Ensure that assigned territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals
  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations and/or technical seminars
  • Attend local vendor shows and company sponsored trade shows
  • Work closely with inside sales team, and sales people from other offices as required
  • Develop business plans, market analysis, and sales strategies for assigned territory
  • Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture
  • Complete assigned learning plan
  • Manage and maintain information in customer database system
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management
  • Hold presentations to larger groups, i.e. seminars & trainings

What you should bring to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Science (Chemistry, Biology or similar)
  • Good knowledge of chromatography (HPLC and SPE production)
  • Working experience in laboratory environment is beneficial
  • Minimum 2 years of Sales experience in similar environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ambitious and motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to plan and work remotely
  • Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas
  • Skilled in the art of negotiation
  • Experience in Microsoft office and Database Management
  • Polish and English on a very high level
  • Valid driver’s license is essential
