Your responsibilities

• Team leading of aprox. 10-20 employees:

o manage and mentor team members

o supervise work within the scope of tasks performed by individual team members,

o plan, coordinate and control work performed by subordinate team,

o prepare performance evaluation and targets setup for team members,

o recruit and perform the onboarding process for new employees

o encourage positive relations and cooperation within the team (internally and externally with Local Business Units or other DFDS PL Departments),

o give regular feedback

o support DFDS Way culture

• 2. Responsibility for team processes:

o have control over team lead projects

o propose, lead or support changes within processes

o be continuously driven to improve internal processes and procedures to reduce transactional costs and handling time

o ensure accurate, timely and high quality services, measured by relevant and accurate KPIs

o report the results to management and stakeholders, propose improvements if relevant

• 3. Client service:

o become a trusted business partner

o build positive and long-term relations with internal and external stakeholders,

o cooperate with external financial and/or consulting institutions (i.e. Auditors, external solutions providers)

o continue an effective cross Teams/Departments cooperation

o be part of a positive work atmospher

Our requirements

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in accounting/finance teams,

  • At least 4 years of experience in different finance related roles,

  • Very good knowledge of accounting and financial processes,

  • Being driven, passionate, positive and able to build team spirit,

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills,

  • Strong customer service skills,

  • Fluent English, knowledge of second European language would be an asset,

  • Precision and attention to details, being inquisitive, diligent and well-organized,

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and other commonly used software,

  • Master degree
