Objectives of the Job:

The Purchasing Administration Specialist will be responsible for delivering quality consistent work in the processing of both product related (PR) and non-product related (NPR) purchase orders while ensuring compliance with global standards and control frameworks in the P2P processes.

This role will manage day to day interaction with suppliers while upholding the internal and external policies regulation and laws in their duties. This is a regional role, responsible for all entities/countries in Paints and Coatings P2P processes within the region, hosted by GBS Regional Delivery Centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing process administration: processing purchase requisitions, creating purchase orders and adding new vendors.
  • Delivering high-quality process documentation.
  • Acting as a contact point for questions regarding purchasing process related topics to all internal customers from whole Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
  • Developing key relationships with suppliers to ensure favourable terms.
  • Working with dedicated systems to support deployment of process design.

Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to grow with us and develop within an international, dynamic environment, which offers plenty of challenges.
  • Fluent German or Dutch and English – you would use languages on a daily basis, working in a truly international environment.
  • Experience in working in a BPO/SSC would be an advantage but is not a must.
  • Good MS Excel knowledge.
  • Detail oriented, organized and responsible attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule workload.
  • Problem-solving and communication skills.
