Purchasing Specialist

About your role:

You will research and identify prospective suppliers, evaluate their offering against key business criteria and the required product specifications, and negotiate purchase agreements.

Your responsibilities:

• Monitoring of open purchase orders and cooperation with suppliers

• Preparation and processing of requests for quotations

• Preparation of comparisons of offers and recommendation of best solutions

• Data management of purchasing processes in the ERP system - reporting data and processes requiring correction, etc.

• Managing contracts in the ERP system: creating new contracts/services, updating prices, monitoring contract expiry dates

• Execution of functional tests e.g. interfaces, supplier portals in ERP system

• Supporting claims process - managing claims, solving problems with incorrectly issued invoices, delayed deliveries, etc. in cooperation with suppliers, finance department, warehouses

• Preparation of required reports for managers and purchasing team

• Respecting procurement standards and taking action in the event of irregularities

• Ensure purchasing processes comply with local regulations, Ammega Group policies and procedures by recommending and using appropriate quality control tools, procedures, and standards

• Data management - identification/intervention of master data anomalies
