Your responsibilities
- Independent planning, supervision and realization of technical and administrative purchases in the company, in particular:
- - systematic creation of purchase orders in accordance with the reported needs of internal and external customers,
- - collecting offers for parts from internal and external suppliers,
- - cooperation with suppliers to solve problems incompatible with the product and accelerate orders,
- - approving invoices for payment and agreeing possible discrepancies,
- - making corporate purchases and identifying the best use of the network of preferred suppliers,
- - identification and implementation of savings initiatives,
- - daily verification of open purchase requirements,
- - assessment of suppliers' effectiveness in terms of (1) valuation and cost reduction, (2) in terms of supply efficiency and (3) consistent quality.
- - forwarding all component requirements to potential sources of supply, ensuring strict compliance with product
- specifications and the Konecranes quality program.
- Regular reporting on ongoing projects to the direct/indirect supervisor,
- Cooperation with other offices of the company and other employees of the Company,
- Performing and conducting other work specified by the Director and the Management Board of the Company, related to the scope of responsibilities, but not mentioned above.
Our requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- 3-4 years of professional experience in a similar position in the purchasing department in the technical environment or in the Supply Chain department
- Aesthetic sense, attention to detail, initiative and proactiveness in activities,
- "Can do" attitude and readiness to learn,
- English - C1/B2 level.
