You will contribute significantly to successful project results in Energy Market CoE projects in Hitachi ABB Power Grids, Poland. Reporting to the Eryk Zajdel, you will work independently while collaborating with, and providing guidance to, the wider R&D team.

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in development of Python based solutions
  • Follow determined programming standards for software products
  • Develop domain technical knowledge and participate in project planning, execution and R&D activities
  • Collaborate with other Hitachi ABB R&D sites and teams contributing to the program to ensure that efforts are coordinated
  • Being a member of a cross discipline team, active participation in all team’s activities, focusing on a common goal
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business

Your background

  • 2+ years of professional experience in Python
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus
  • Knowledge of Linux ecosystem is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Effective team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proactivity and drive to constantly develop and learn new skills
