About the project
Join our team working on projects of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and have a real impact on the lives and health of more than 15 million patients! By implementing the projects of Sii's key, long-standing client, you will get the chance to develop in the field of R&D, clinical trials, and global services. You will work based on Agile methodologies, using modern tools and technologies.
You will be working in a team that uses the very latest cloud technologies to ingest, aggregate, and make available for analysis, complex, multinational data sets capturing digital engagements, customer interactions, and medical enquiries. You will have the opportunity to shape the future strategy for the group and to recommend the most business-efficient approaches to data management that meet customer requirements. You will be encouraged to show initiative and enthusiasm about working in a fast-moving and agile environment.
Your responsibilities
Build data management pipelines using different methods, including Python (PySpark), on AWS for the relevant integration
Ensure best practices and standards are followed
Deploy the data pipelines to different environments
Incorporate enhancements to existing data pipelines
Fix bugs for data pipelines and provide relevant support during the deployment and testing phase
Our requirements
4+ years of working with programming languages focused on data pipelines, e.g., Python or R
3+ years of experience working with SQL
3+ years of experience in data pipelines maintenance
Experience in working in data architecture concepts in any of the following areas - data modeling, workflow management, ETL/ELT, real-time streaming, data quality, distributed systems
Very good knowledge of Git, Gitflow, DevOps tools will be an asset (e.g., Docker, Bamboo, Jenkins, Terraform)
Very good knowledge of English
