About the project
QA Automation Engineer is independent and self-organized individual contributor who works in autonomous team called Mobile Application (up to 11 members for now). As QA Engineer in our team, you will be engaged in all aspects of testing of new telco processes and optimization of existing ones.
Your responsibilities
Creating, maintaining and executing test cases
Proactive driving improvements to quality assurance process
One of your goals is eliminating manual testing and trivial activities by providing automation
Daily monitoring of automated test results
Communicating about dependencies, risks and delays
Working with technical and non-technical team members to ensure high quality is being implemented
Our requirements
Knowledge of Java (min. 1 year of experience)
Experience in building Automation Test Framework (min. 6 months of experience)
Knowledge of Built-In-Quality
Practical knowledge of testing techniques and types
Not only know how to create test cases but also how to anticipate what is needed to execute them (environment, tools –mobile phone, mocks)
Practical knowledge of API for the testing purpose (reading Swagger, use of Postman)
Practical knowledge of Gherkin
Experience with Git
Understands the operation of IT systems and how the communication between the application and the backend as well as external systems works
An assertive, pro-active person who thinks analytically
Meticulouness, reliability, have an eye for details
Optional
Willingness to perform manual tests
Management and usage of device testing farms (Saucelabs or similar)
Understanding of CI process (and how can be utilized in context of test automation)
Practical knowledge of KIBANA, JIRA, XRAY - JIRA PLUGIN for execution tests
Knowledge of SAFe
