    QA Engineer for Smart Buildings
    Workplace: Kraków
    Corporate Research Center located in Krakow is one of seven ABB research units in the world. Here we create innovative solutions for our products and systems. It is unique opportunity for you to work on international projects in interdisciplinary scientific teams. We are looking for an QA Engineer to join our Building Automation team. Within this position you will have an opportunity to take part in the whole Quality process of an innovative solution for Smart Home industry.

    Tasks:

    • Design, implement and execute automated test cases;
    • Participate in test framework development;
    • Perform all kinds of tests: regression, integration, system tests;
    • Document defects found during tests using dedicated defect tracking tool;
    • Participate in test planning, execution and R&D activities;
    • Close cooperation with developers during analysis of defects, requirements, tests and system aspects.

    Requirements:

    • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with QA best practices and methodologies;
    • Experience with CI frameworks and source code control tools;
    • Very good knowledge of testing frameworks and tools;
    • Experience in test automation (Python);
    • Spoken and written English;
    • Communication skills;
    • Flexible and self-learning.
    Additional advantage will be experience in:
    • Familiar with Agile development environment;
    • ISTQB or equivalent certification along with prior experience in software tests;
    • Experience in testing of embedded devices;
    • Mobile application testing.
