Your responsibilities

  • Review and refine, interpret and implement business, technical and design requirements

  • Ensure you are part of the on-going productivity and priorities by refining User Stories, Epics and Backlogs in Jira

  • Manage code artefacts and CI/CD using tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.

  • Estimate, commit and deliver requirements to scope, quality, and time expectations

  • Build, test and deploy QlikSense dashboard applications

  • Meet dashboard design specifications through the use of VizLib Library and/or Mashups

  • Deliver dashboards with read-write capability through writeback tables and commentary, with VizLib Collaboration extensions

  • Use Qlik best practices to build fit for purpose apps that are performant for our stakeholders

  • Deliver non-functional requirements, IT standards and developer and support tools to ensure our applications are secure, compliant, scalable, reliable and cost effective

  • Build automated unit and regression tests as part of a test-centric development approach

  • Write well-commented, maintainable and self-documenting code

  • Develop and share reusable Qlik components

  • Connect to data from our Google BigQuery data warehouse and govern the ingest and data relationships within Qlik

  • Fix defects and provide enhancements during the development period and hand-over knowledge, expertise, code and support responsibilities to support team

Our requirements

  • Minimum 3-years experience in QlikSense

  • From a structured IT delivery methodology background

  • Team player irrespective of experience and background

  • Documentation skills (every developer has to create documentation covering design and testing)

  • Mature positive attitude to interact positively with senior stakeholders

  • Able to work alone but escalates when needed

  • Keeping the project manager informed of issues and resolutions

  • Pro-active and takes ownership, and responsible

  • for the outcomes

Optional

  • NPrinting, and Qlik GeoAnalytics

  • Data Modelling

  • Some experience in other BI tools also useful if not all Qlik applications are covered: Tableau, Spotfire, SAS VA, etc.
