    Burgaflex is a supplier for the Automotive and Off Highway industries and for our facility in Poland we are looking for a QA engineer. Burgaflex produce components and assemblies which are manufactured on site. These hose assemblies are used in various applications such as mobile air-conditioning and water cooling. Burgaflex is an independent company which is active in the worldwide market place. Besides the sales offices in France, China and Australia we have production facilities in Holland, England, Turkey and Poland.  

    Our goal is a worldwide standard quality management system for our production facilities. The successful applicant will support the other quality departments across all production facilities, the successful applicant must be able to work together closely with these locations. The main focus is the maintenance and improvement of the quality management system in Poland.

    Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

    Main Responsibilities

    The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks;

    • Improve and maintain the current quality management system ISO 9001:2015
    • Implement ISO14001 and IATF 16949
    • Carry out and manage internal audits.
    • Provide support during external audits by customers or certified bodies.
    • Maintenance and improvement of health and safety, waste reduction and environmental strategies.
    • Provide support and feedback to Management during the annual review.
    • Communication with customers.

    Required skills

    The ideal candidate will have following profile:

    • Education in the area of quality is preferred, will consider relevant industry professional experience.
    • 3 to 5 year experience in equivalent position.
    • Knowledge of quality, environmental and health and safety management systems which include ISO. IATF 16949, ISO 9001 en ISO 14001.
    • Fluent in English and Polish.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of 8D reporting and related tools to carry out corrective and preventive actions.
    • Knowledge of core Quality tools  (FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP)
    • Good communication both written and verbal, hands on, no nonsense approach and a team player.
    • Hands on mentality.
    • The candidate is willing to move near the Polish location in Katowice.
