Our Global Center for Retail Software is looking for Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers of all levels to join our team in Katowice who will be closely cooperating with our globally acting retail customers helping them to bring their instore experience to the next level using Diebold Nixdorf compelling and innovative POS software solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Create test cases and test reports based on test plan

  • Create, update, maintain and execute API and UX tests

  • Create, maintain and improve test automation

  • Review and retest test failures and verify fixes

  • Report progress to the test manager

  • Deployment of new environments and updating existing environments

  • Participate in product planning and design

  • Collaborate with all product development teams

Our requirements

  • Documenting and troubleshooting errors

  • Ability to writing technical documentation (Confluence, Spike)

  • Familiarity with different types of testing (regression, performance, E2E, FVT, penetration)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Good English communication skills (speaking and writing)

  • Analytical mind, interested in new technologies and not afraid of new challenges

  • At least 2 years’ experience as test engineer, including 1 year experience in test automation

Optional

  • QA methodology knowledge (ISTQB Foundation)

  • API Testing: JMeter, Postman, Swagger

  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Suite

  • Ability to writing technical documentation (Confluence, Spike)

  • Understanding Agile software development process

  • Familiarity with different types of testing (regression, performance, E2E, FVT, penetration)
