About the project

The Quality Engineer (QE) team member is responsible for ensuring overall Quality Engineering work at 6Connex platform. This includes (but is not limited to) the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch. Duties such as identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for subsequent review. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results, and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues. This requires utilization of the latest engineering tools, testing, processes, and automation, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality. He/she is responsible for utilizing test engineering skills to drive product quality so that our customers can realize the full benefits of our platform. The goal of which is to produce the best-in-class product reliability, usability, and performance.

Your responsibilities

Follow processes in place for completing the QE work.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Analyze bugs and errors found during tests.
Document results of tests for the software development team.
Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance.
Works together with the software developers to enhance and improve programs.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Monitor debugging process results.
Ensure integration testing stability, speed, and risk mitigation.
Develop and nurture relationships with all team members to develop best-in-class experience for our users.
Improve all aspects of the product and deliver outstanding results for our customers.
Work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, and the broader organization to build a culture of quality.

Our requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer science, Electrical engineering, or similar technical field; or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of QE experience
Prefer experience testing containerized application running on AWS.
Ability to work with offshore development teams in various locations and time zones.
Possess a strong passion for quality, high level of attention to detail, and the proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong, productive relationships.
Has worked in an agile environment.
Experience with testing web and mobile applications, as well as APIs and integrated solutions.
Extremely data-driven; able to stand up monitoring services and quality analytics tools.
Ability to balance between optimizing for speed to market, iterating based on feedback, and shipping quality product.
Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering high quality products. Not afraid to get your hands dirty, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in English oral and written communication.
Availability to work during normal US business hours (Between 2PM and 11PM Poland time).
