Your responsibilities
- Definition, implementation and development of mistake proofing methods to produce defect free parts
- Control plan development
- Quality support to production
- Leading core problem solving
- Customer quality problem solving – 8D acc. to AS 13000
- Supplier quality problem solving – 8D acc. to AS 13000
- Develop and perform scrap, rework, repair (SRR) cost reduction initiatives
- Prepare quality reports and statistics and analysis to determine trends and corrective action areas
- Process SAP ERP quality module actions
- Other Responsibilities:
- Manage First Article Inspection – FAI acc. to AS 9102
- Participation and carrying out audits (1st, 2nd & 3rd party)
- Participation in PFMEA
- Approval of Measurement System & MSA
- Perform New Product Validation – UPPAP
- Prepare and lead quality trainings for production operators and quality inspectors
Our requirements
- Engineer degree in Quality or Manufacturing or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar position in manufacturing, preferably aerospace, automotive or similar
- Ability to build relationships and communicate at every level of the organization's structure;
- Competent in PPAP, PFMEA, APQP & Control Plan, SPC, MSA
- Experience in working with manufacturing and process engineers
- Leadership, training, and coaching skills;
- Very strong problem solving skills, focused on Root Cause Investigation, competent in 8D methodology
- Fluent in English;
- Hands on and proactive approach;
- Experience in quality in CNC machining would be an advantage;
