Your responsibilities

Position highlight:

In this position, you will be responsible for building and implementing a quality strategy, managing the quality assurance system in the Production Plant, creating quality requirements for processes and products with a team, creating new solutions, and actively participating in shaping and developing a pro-quality culture.

How you will impact WestRock:

• Review equipment calibration, validation, and maintenance records to ensure they are performed correctly and on time.

• Providing a quality management system to achieve confirmation of their compliance by certifying organizations in all areas of the production plant and the supply chain.

• Assist with the identification and development of required procedures and processes related to the Quality Management System.

• Managing a team of subordinate employees (division of tasks, allocation of resources, management of the skill set, mentoring and support).

• Implementation of the quality standards and methodology of the Westrock group

• Cooperation with quality teams in other factories in Europe

• Active participation in NPI processes.

• Supervising the analysis of the reasons for the complaint and developing a corrective action plan, presenting the 8D report to the client. Coordination of activities in multifunctional teams

• Defining quality requirements for the product and process.

• Participation in audits, ensuring compliance with the system.

• Development and coordination of the implementation of preventive and corrective actions aimed at improving the quality of products

• Ensure compliance with Company and Customer specific regulations related to the quality of product, documentation and to the expected performance of day-to-day activities.

• Oversee detailed inspections of components and completed assemblies at various phases of production and throughout the manufacturing processes.

Our requirements

  • Graduate Master degree level

  • Ability to manage a team, cooperate and lead multi-functional / project groups

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage change, process thinking and focus on process improvement,

  • Searching for solutions and own initiative in action

  • Practical knowledge and success in managing quality processes

  • Knowledge about methods of production optimization and solving quality problems

  • Ability to recommend solutions

  • Knowledge and practical use of quality tools (8D, FMEA, 5 WHY, Ishikawa diagram, Control plan)

  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, TPM, VSM, SMED, Kaizen) and the Continuous improvement methodology.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry.

  • Demonstrable experience of leading change and implementing continuous improvement processes

  • Communicative knowledge of spoken and written English.

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point).

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
