With reference to R&D Manager in Stargard, Poland and R&D Manager in Copenhagen, Denmark you will join an international team of highly skilled colleagues in R&D TCM (Transcutaneous Monitoring) PLM group. The PLM team (Product Lifecycle Management) takes care of products present on the market, such as redesign to handle end of life components, adaptation to new regulations, standards and addressing quality, customer and cost issues.
On In this position you will be supporting product maintenance activities for transcutaneous monitoring systems. You will work closely with your colleagues from Poland, Denmark and Switzerland. Your working place will be Stargard, Poland.
Responsibilities summed up:
• Building SME (subject-matter expert) expertise within our marketed product portfolio with primary focus on transcutaneous (TC) sensors.
• Acting as lead engineer responsible for technical performance and overall consistency of the technical documentation for one generation of TC sensors.
• Supporting overall TC product portfolio with technical expertise.
• Evaluating and implementing hardware changes to the design of TC products, including:
o Preparing feasibility studies, running and evaluating technical impact assessments.
o Collecting information from relevant stakeholders, for example safety risk and usability assessment.
o Planning, conducting and documenting product verification testing.
o Drive the Engineering Change Order and ensure timely implementation in production.
• Running root cause analysis for market complaints and product failures with efficient use of systematic problem solving process.
• Supporting running production and participating in solving product quality issues.
• Cooperating with all departments in the organization including close collaboration with Radiometer Medical in Denmark and Switzerland.
• Master Degree in Electronic Engineering, alternatively Physics or Mechanical Engineering with interest in electronics or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in working in the field of product maintenance and/or development activities, preferably in medical industry.
• Experience in working with product documentation.
• Good at prioritizing, meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
• Developed analytical, organization, communication as well as team-oriented skills.
• Fluent in Polish and English both writing and oral (C1 level preferred)
• Experience in working with complex systems with multiple interfaces and combining different disciplines.
• Experience in working in highly regulated industry, with high preference for medical industry, as a plus.
• Knowledge of design control for medical devices and experience in performing product verification testing would be an advantage.
• Readiness for business trips up to 20-30 days per year (mainly to Denmark and Switzerland).
