Your responsibilities

  • Developing and optimizing formulations for new materials based on natural fibers.

  • Manufacturing samples of new materials using new and existing formulations.

  • Exploration and validation of methods for functionalizing cellulose fibers.

  • Preliminary evaluation of new materials parameters and conducting material tests.

  • Monitoring the raw material market to identify new types of natural fibers.

  • Designing and performing laboratory experiments, solving research problems and designing test procedures.

  • Keeping records of measurement and research, processing results and writing reports.

  • Exploring and implementing new methods, equipment and tools in laboratory manufacturing processes.

  • Identification of causes of quality changes in obtained materials or finished products, development of methods for stabilization of processes and product parameters.

  • Leading employee training.

Our requirements

  • Secondary education (preferably chemical or comparable).

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in R&D department.

  • English skills at the communicative level .

  • Familiarity with MS Office, including proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Ability to research and find solutions to research questions.

  • Expertise in documentation and report writing.

  • Preferred experience in the cellulose and paper industry.

  • Prefered knowledge of processing and parameterization of cellulose fibers.
