Your responsibilities
An outstanding opportunity to join us as R Developer into Projections Modelling team in Warsaw, which is currently working on mathematical and econometric models and infrastructure used for projecting how our businesses would perform under various scenarios.
Your responsibility will include developing and maintaining source code in R for statistical analysis tools facilitating testing and performance monitoring of our projection models, using standard methodologies in code development and software architecture design as well as creating high quality technical documentation.
This is an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with Quant Strats internal and external teams on development, implementation, and review of projections modeling tools.

Our requirements
Master’s of Science degree or a Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or physics.
At least 3 years of proven industry or academic experience in computational modeling.
Extensive programming and software development experience with R, Matlab, Python, SPSS, C/C++ (at least 2, R - preferred).
Proven experience using SQL and managing relational databases.
Ability and willingness to implement long-term, scalable and documented well-structured software solutions.
Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
Outstanding verbal presentation skills, ability to engage in concise and effective discussions.
The following will be advantageous:
Proven hands on experience working with and implementing advanced analytics and algorithms methodologies.
Detailed knowledge of statistical modeling techniques.
Experience in development of graphical user interfaces software modules or libraries.
