Record, verify and execute transactions according to process documentation for General Ledger, Closing and Reporting.
Act as Company Responsible and being main contact person for FA operational related topics for dedicated Legal Entity, including responsibility (participation/lead) for FO/AccP colaboration calls.
Act a Key User for specific area or tools (e.g. Closing, Reporting, GL).
Prepare and conduct process specific trainings.
Creation and update of SD.
Make decision related to not standard/complex cases in area of responsibility (CR, key user)
Pic-up judgment based activities and search support how to deal with it
Close cooperation and support for the team, Experts and Team Leaders.
Support in solving, follow up on issues and looking for solutions/improvements across team/department.
Interact with key business functions (e.g. Controlling, Procurement, Product Supply, etc.) to ensure proper accounting for the particular areas of operation.
Interact with internal and external auditors ensuring prompt response to audit requests. Monitor and implement changes in ICS process, perform appropriate ICS controls.
Support local projects such as legal entity and system mergers, acquisitions or divestitures.
Contribute to achieve Service Levels of Accounting in collaboration with SSCDN.
Personal drive on high level - looking for improvements, motivating others, stimulating to act, to coordinate a group of key users.
University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics or relevant degree.
Certified tax advisor or accounting certificate - beneficial.
3 or more years’ experience in general accounting.
Very good knowledge of general accounting, IFRS.
Experience in SAP or other ERP system as beneficial.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (esp. MS Excel).
Good level of knowledge of technical accounting, and financial reporting in a corporate environment according to IFRS and local GAAP.
Good level of experience with Bayer´s Financial Accounting IT Enablers.
Experience in conducting and preparing trainings and/or workshops.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Very good English language skills.
Knowledge of Russian or other languages beneficial.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, initiative and reliability.
Ability to work through ambiguity and usage of sound judgement in making decisions.
Good communication skill and analytical thinking.
Good level of ability to establish and maintain a sustainable stakeholder network.
