Your responsibilities
Collection, processing and maintenance of raw material & packaging technical data and associated systems, e.g. SAP, DevEX, Corporate Specifications
Proactive and reactive communication with ingredients and packaging supplier to collect required level of information
Population of ingredients data in a timely manner to ensure continuous production and that business needs are met.
Management of Corporate Specifications data accuracy and endorsement by suppliers
Revision, assessment and approval of quality and regulatory documentation for ingredients
Support McCormick manufacturing sites during 3rd party audits.
Acts as first point of contact for any technical queries related to Raw Material data
Responsible for producing accurate performance KPI’s.
Providing weekly/ monthly reports/ updates on project progress to the Team Manager.
Prepare data searches and WU reports in a timely manner and appropriate accuracy
Actively participates in Raw Material & Packaging related projects
Proactively performing root cause analysis and generating process improvement ideas.
Effective communication management between key stakeholders, suppliers and other Technical Shared Services departments in terms of new ingredients and packaging materials approval and existing data maintenance
Our requirements
High University diploma in Food Science related discipline
1-year experience in the Food industry or similar area
Good analytical skills
Organized, methodical, detail-oriented and able to multitask
Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, with a high sense of urgency
Proactive and flexible approach
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively across the business functions, and work effectively as part of a team
Critical Thinking & Problem solving
Statistical skills
Project Management Skills
Fluent English
Advanced level of computer literacy (specifically Excel, SAP, Outlook and Lotus Notes desirable)
Food law knowledge will be an advantage
Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic) will be and advantage
Ability to work on rotating afternoon shift
