Ensure accounts receivable process compliance to UPM policies and rules and that internal controls are effective
Support and advise outsourced cash application team on operational level and ensure accurate accounts receivable ledger records
Be responsible for accounts receivable process documentation and instructions including SOPs to outsourced cash application team
Execute daily accounts receivable and cash management activities which are kept as inhouse operations in UPM
Resolve and supporting process and operative escalations within accounts receivable in close co-operation with all customer facing teams both in Finance and Business
Provide receivables data analysis and actionable insights to Business stakeholders to support actions to minimize revenue leakage
Drive adoption of best practices in accounts receivable process and automate where relevant
Develop and implement accounts receivable processes, solutions, applications and interfaces
Participate in Lead to Cash end to end process development and continuous improvement activities together with other Customer Operations in Finance, Finance Operations and Business teams
Provide accounts receivable expertise in different UPM projects
Perform all operative activities for Receivables process in projects ( gather business requirements, perform developments, support data migration, perform UAT, coordinate and support developments)
You have master’s degree in economics/business administration or similar education
You have more than 5 years of relevant experience in a global finance organization
You have deep knowledge and experience with accounts receivable process, controls and systems, and you know how to develop these by using latest technologies and solutions
You have good knowledge of Lead to Cash end to end process
You are experienced user of SAP and analytical/reporting tools
You are solution oriented with a problem-solving mindset and have the capability to understand and lead complexities
You have strong collaboration, influencing and team working skills with flexible, positive and proactive attitude towards changing environment
You are fluent in English and have experience from multi-national and diverse business environment
You know how to lead yourself and manage independently your tasks
You are willing to travel to UPM business and customer sites globally
