The RTR Manager will establish and manage the RTR team up o 10 people within the Finance Shared Service Center. a person on this position will be responsible for the quality and content of the financial statements from an accounting point of view. The R2R manager will also be the chief accountant and key point of contact of the local business controllers for the DACH and Central region.

  • Responsible for the setup of the record-to-report organization
  • Participate in the transition of work from the local organizations to the Shared Service Center
  • Gather knowledge and insight of the local accounting rules and operations of the local entities prior to the transition into the shared service center
  • Lead and overall oversight of the R2R department and provide consistent leadership to department personnel through regular meetings, effective objective setting, delegation, and communication
  • Responsible for the record-to-report activities and performance and delivery against Service Level Agreements
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements in R2R processes, systems and procedures
  • Identifies and prioritizes potential objectives and translate corporate strategy into clear specific objectives for the R2R department
  • Ensure that all activities and the deployment of resources within the department are consistent with its objectives
  • Ensure operational costs of the R2R tower are in line with relevant budgetary controls
  • Manage escalated issues
  • People development, career development and succession planning
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly close of General Ledger
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as outlined in policy manuals and in accordance with local statutory requirements
  • Key point of contact for the business controllers in the respective region


  • University degree
  • At least 5 years on a leadership role in RTR department
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Experience in process migration
  • Solution-oriented and flexible attitude
  • Experience in building new team - preferred
