    Regional Benefits Manager EMEA
    Location: Warszawa
     

    Job Purpose:
    This position is responsible for managing the regional employee benefit plans. The primary role of this position is to lead the design, development and administration of the company’s regional Insurance, Retirement Plans and other benefit policies.  


    Scope:
    The position will provide leadership direction of the management of all related plan operations including project planning, implementation and vendor management. External vendors the position will interface with include plan vendors and administrators, consultants, actuaries and legal counsel.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participation in the design and development of the companies benefit plan strategy
    • Manage all aspects of plan administration, including oversight of outsource vendor operations
    • Vendor management to include; relationship building, contract review and the monitoring performance guarantees
    • Act as project manager for the implementation of new programs and/or plan design changes for all plans
    • Responsible to monitor, track and coordinate all plan activity with all internal and external parties
    • Analyze program utilization, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve effectiveness of existing programs
    • Develop plan analytics, including preparation of reports, materials and presentations
    • Ongoing review of the effectiveness of existing processes
    • Lead the development of all benefits communications
    • Ensure compliance with regional and country specific legislation
    • Member of Retirement Plan Trustee Committees and other related roles
    • Directs the work of others
    • Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws.
    • Partners with the global mobility team to support international assignments

    Education and Work Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related discipline
    • Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated health and welfare and retirement plan management experience, in multinational/global organization or consulting firm
    • Thorough knowledge of EMEA region benefit plan laws and regulations
    • Experience working with EMEA Works Councils
    • Prior experience in managing outsource vendors
    • Involvement with mergers/acquisitions/divestitures due diligence and integration
    • CEBS or CBP a plus

    Competency Requirements:

    • Project Management: Managing projects proficiently, efficiently, and with accountability for project results. Proven ability to manage projects simultaneously, ability to work independently in a team environment
    • Use of Technology: Demonstrate understanding of the role of technology and how it applies to benefits, including the familiarity of web based benefit enrollment and administration systems
    • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
    • Strong Analytical Skills
    • Communication Skills: excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
    • Collaboration and Teamwork – Ability to interact effectively and foster collaborative relationships with employees at all levels
    • Information Sharing: Promoting an honest and open environment in which information flows freely among all levels of the organization. Anticipating and meeting the information needs of all relevant constituents
    • Time management/ Flexibility - being able to work from Katowice office on various occasions (3 days per week)
