Your responsibilities
Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in activities related to processing of credit transactions, as well as credit administration and related activities
Conduct market research aimed at updating credit reviews, including analysis of financials (incl. financial modelling), industry, and competitors
Complete client pricing documentation for assigned large corporate clients
Coordinate with operations for limit setup, drawdown, approval conditions and covenant monitoring
Participate in client meetings and conferences
Perform all other job-related tasks as requested by RMs and/or Line Manager
Support RMs in conducting credit analysis and writing credit applications for corporate clients, based on publicly available sources as well as information delivered by Relationship Management team
Assist RMs in collateral/security monitoring, including making periodical review of the assigned portfolio
Coordinate with customers or loan agents when needed to collect information or discuss related topics
Compliance with internal policies and procedures
Support RMs in compliance with regulatory requirements in terms of periodic review of the assigned portfolio, proper classification of exposures, adequate structuring of recommended transactions
Act as the primary coordination person for engagement with Credit Operations
Our requirements
Solid experience in financial analysis and financial modelling
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
Experience with financial and risk tools and ad-hoc client queries
Committed to delivering high quality work and have a professional critical attitude while having the ability to monitor and uphold high quality of service to clients (internal and external)
Eye for detail, result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
Can-do approach and creativeness in dealing with problem matters
Self-driven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment

About the role
The Regional Business Support Specialist would be part of RBS Team based in Cracow to support processing of credit transactions and related admin activities for HSBC businesses across several European countries. The jobholder will play an important role in supporting Relationship Management teams from various European locations in credit and other business-related activities.
