Your responsibilities

  • Maintain IT infrastructure which is critical to support day-to-day business operations (e.g. clearing-payments, payroll, global market operations)
  • Provide local application support of country specific systems such as regulatory reporting to Czech National bank, local payroll and accounting systems, statutory inquires system for government subjects etc.
  • Manage incident resolutions with Czech speaking technology 3rd parties (IT vendors) as well as regulatory subject (Czech national bank IT teams)
  • Be key contributor to supporting the day-to-day operation of these service components, in line with agreed availability and performance levels.
  • Identify, monitor, drive and track service improvements creating & managing a culture of continuous improvements
  • Collaborate with other members of Wholesale IT team and share knowledge and practices
  • Keep line and functional management aware of any developing issues that may have an impact on service

Our requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support and good understanding of service management techniques (including change/problem/incident management)
  • Strong technical skills and experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, MS SQL and networking technologies
  • Knowledge of the following applications and technologies is a benefit: PTS, Helios, Fire, .Net, MS Access, windows scripting
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to understand complex technical engineering projects
  • Previous experience from working in financial institution is a benefit
  • Good communication skills, problem solving and negotiation ability with non-technical users
  • English language skills both written and spoken
  • Czech language skills both written and spoken
