Regional Corporate & Commercial Controller

Your responsibilities

  • Financial Expertizes

  • Business Planning (budgeting and forecasting)

  • Business Partnering: use financial expertise to understand, improve & challenge overall effectiveness of the business

  • Fostering strong relationships with business units and other functions by establishing a customer service culture within the commercial finance team

  • Developing “objective-based “system & process enhancements to enable more effective day-to-day management of business profitability

  • Developing or enhance existing forecasting models both for Al Fakher as well as competitors

  • Preparing relevant analysis and data for internal/external stakeholders (e.g. reports: P&Ls, cash flow forecasts, net working capital utilization; stakeholders: banks, auditors, Regional/Group finance team)

  • Preparing relevant financial/commercial analysis, modeling and support other business units to ensure compliance

  • Oversee and monitoring capital and marketing expenditure to ensure return on investment

  • Challenging existing modus operandi, questioning processes and structures which are currently embedded in the company culture

  • Providing business partnering to the commercial departments

Our requirements

  • Master degree in accounting, finance or any other related field

  • 5-8 years financial, commercial & market experience in accounting/analytical roles with relevant industrial sector experience

  • CMA, CFA, ACCA or other relevant professional qualification

  • Understanding of the industry and excise tax systems and/or FMCG relevant experience

  • Be familiar with local/international GAAPs

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Experience in Budgeting & Forcasting for multiple business units

  • Knowledge on business performance evaluation

  • The ability to understand main activities in business process, link it with departmental & company objectives and align it with other functional areas.

  • Good communicator being able to build strong relationships, influencing and presenting data

  • Advance excel skills with exposure to heavy use of ERP system (Microsoft Navision is plus)

  • Data and trend analysis, communication & presentation skills

  • Problem solving, logical reasoning and decision making, customer focus, team work

  • Language: Fluency in English, oral and written

  • Strong stake holder management
