    Currently, due to changes of the company's structure, they are seeking to recruit an experienced individual for a newly created position in Poland - Regional Finance Director.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in further development of the company, its strategy and he/she is expected to be a business partner for key business managers in the region.

    Our client is an international manufacturing and distribution company. The company offers unique products and services to clients globally.

    Description

    • Act as finance business partner for the regional Board and support execution of operational and financial strategy
    • Manage the preparation and assure the accuracy of company-wide management information
    • Cooperate closely with sales & marketing teams and provide commercial finance support for KPIs management (including but not limited to pricing policy, commercial contracts, margin monitoring)
    • Play a key role in cost management, looking for opportunities in cost optimisation in the region
    • Drive the company through the phase of processes improvement and operational transformation
    • Assure that all statutory, tax and consolidation reports respect national accounting principles and procedures and are done within the expected time-frame
    • Lead financial performance reviews and budget variance analyses
    • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
    • Manage and co-ordinate the annual budget cycle
    • Control and minimise legal and business risks
    • Lead the finance team
    • Represent the company during internal and external audits

    Profile

    • 15 years of experience in finance gained in international environment (ie. FMCG sector)
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role
    • ACCA or CIMA qualification is a prerequisite
    • High level of competence in commercial finance / finance business partnering
    • Track record in change management, process optimisation, cost management
    • Competence in accounting & tax management, treasury/cash flow management, risk management, budgeting, controlling and reporting
    • Experienced in managing multicultural teams will be an asset
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Hands-on approach, communications and interpersonal skills including ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial people
    • Ambitious, keen to take on additional responsibility
    • Range of systems experience, including planning and forecasting tools
    • Very good command of English is a must, fluency in Polish
