Your responsibilities

  • Create the central deployment plan

  • Ensure an optimal distribution of the produced products to different European markets

  • Create the plan based on the actual demand, the actual stock position, the desired safety stock levels, but also taking in account the transportation and in/outbound limitations

  • Ensure an optimal service level, maximize freshness of delivered products and aim to minimize costs

  • Work with our planning system OMP for which you will guard that all settings and master data are kept up-to-date, you make adjustments when necessary

  • Report and communicate accurately and pro-actively about the stock availability in the different markets and will be in contact with various stakeholders inside the organization

  • Escalate issues to the organization and implement actions to improve

  • Implement priority rules for deployment planning

  • Monitor alerts and identify solutions

  • Follow up on deployment planning metrics and reporting (e.g. adherence to deployment plan, average payload, etc.

  • Drive continuous improvement on the deployment processes, identify projects, participate in selection and coordinate / execute

  • Align with other teams on deployment schedule & availability of products

  • Align with Local (& Central) Supply Planners on deployment plan (3-17 weeks)

  • Align with Local Schedulers on actuals and input to deployment schedule (0-2 weeks)

  • Align with Local Logistics on deployment schedule (2 weeks)

  • Align with Customer care teams

Our requirements

  • Bachelor level or equivalent by experience

  • American Production and Inventory Control Society, (APICS) & Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification or equivalent (Nice to have)

  • Very good level of English (writing, reading, speaking and listening)

  • Analytical and problem solving capabilities to improve deployment planning activities

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Independent and detail oriented, with strong written, verbal and negotiating skills.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills for establishing and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally

About the role:

As Deployment Planner you are responsible for the creation of the deployment planning or DRP (Distribution Replenishment Planning) for the product categories and locations you are in charge of.
