This segment is comprised of our Global Medical Solutions, Global Orthopaedics and Global Surgery Groups.

    Regional Sales Manager (Medical Devices, Orthopedics) is responsible for the sales results, team management, people development, market penetration and increase of market share of the whole Business Unit (BU) product portfolio in a designated region. Identifies current and future market trends and business opportunities.

     

    Key responsibilities:

     

    Sales Targets:

    • Coaches and supports Sales Representatives (SR) in achievement of sales budgets
    • Executes the BU strategies in managed territory, identifies opportunities to improve sales performance
    • Regularly reviews sales results, projects, launches and takes appropriate action with SR and Product Manager
    • Sets priorities and aligns resources with sales team
    • Executes effective product launches according to the plan made together with PM
    • Accomplishes profitable investment plans
    • Reports to National Sales Manager

    Account Management:

    • Manages relationships with surgeons and hospital administration in entire region
    • Addresses educational and administrative needs
    • Develops appropriate key account plans
    • Communicates and reviews objectives with SR on monthly basis
    • Makes regular field visits to support Sales Representatives, projects, negotiations, launches, etc.

    Personnel

    • Line management of SRs (objectives, priorities, performance, appraisals, talent development)
    • Analyzes training and development needs, participates on recruitment of new team members (interviews, offer details)
    • Cares about all matters related to disciplinary procedures, arbitrates in disputes or misunderstandings

    Qualifications:

    • University Degree (medical education is not obligatory)
    • Adequate sales management track record, min 2 years in Medical Devices sector
    • Assertive, can challenge people in a positive and constructive way, enthusiastic, ambitious
    • Team builder, able to work across different businesses, empowers others, enforcing company’s values and ensures compliance on all levels
    • Strategic qualities, passionate innovative mindset, well organized
    • Very good product and market understanding, ability to listen and share the knowledge
    • Great communicator, having good collaboration and presentation skills
    • Fluent in Polish and advanced in English
    • Ability to travel (up to 60% of the time) mainly in the region
