Regional Sales Manager
We offer you an exciting and challenging job at Agrometer, a company selling state-of-the-art equipment and solutions for slurry handling and distribution. Agrometer has seen an increased interest from Central-Eastern European markets and therefore, the company is looking for a dynamic and goal-oriented Regional Sales Manager to strengthen the local presence of Agrometer on these markets.
 
You will be part of Agrometer’s European sales team – with dedicated focus on securing new customers and building new networks in the agricultural sector. You will cover Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine.

The job

As our new Regional Sales Manager, you will identify and contact market opportunities for Agrometer products and solutions in the region. You will drive direct sales to end-users and develop all the relevant sales channels. Moreover, you will represent the company at relevant exhibitions, conferences, and seminars.

Our expectations

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, for example, engineering, business administration, technical education
  • Solid sales experience (min. 4 years of sales experience in the agricultural sector and/or the machine industry)
  • Experience and proven results with sales outreaching/canvassing to new customers
  • Strong network within the agricultural sector in the CEE countries and/or Russia
  • Technical skills and understanding
  • Local language plus candidates must be fluent (in writing and orally) in English. German as well as other language skills in the neighbouring countries are a plus
  • Great drive, high self-discipline, and a clear desire to create sales results in the CEE countries. Potential employees must therefore also expect +100 travel days per year
  • Willing to work independently in the respective market(s) with ongoing sparring from the remaining sales organisation, including the CEO at Agrometer
  • Motivated by a significant share of commission remuneration - basis for favourable remuneration if sales results are achieved
  • Good knowledge of basic IT tools including the MS Office package
