What is Leveraged Capability Team in Katowice?

Leveraged Capability is part of Koch Business Solutions, a company providing services for multiple Koch group entities across Europe. Scope of LC services is focusing of compliance work and is going far beyond typical accounting processes, as those are delivered by other departments. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

You will be responsible for a team of 6-10 people working on:

  • Submission of statistical and governmental reports
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Preparation of VAT declarations in various jurisdictions
  • Preparation of data for CIT tax return calculation
  • Supporting tax and financial audit processes
  • Transfer prices documentation

Above mentioned activities will be delivered for various Koch businesses based in Poland and Hungary.

As a manager we expect you to:

  • Coordinate the work of the team
  • Active support in resolving if operational problems
  • Lead more complex projects
  • Guide the team in application of Market Based Management principles in daily work

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

We are looking for people having relevant experience in one or several of the below listed activities: 

  • Previous direct involvement in process of annual financial statement and/or group reporting packages preparation and audit
  • Experience in reporting VAT including government interactions (contacting tax authorities) in Poland and/or Hungary
  • General knowledge of current and deferred income tax – how to calculate and prepare return
  • Experience in managing people
  • Fluency in English
