Be responsible for full review of regulatory capital calculations and reporting.
Carry out technical thematic reviews of IG's compliance with prudential regulations in all jurisdictions globally.
Analyse the drivers of regulatory capital and propose recommendations for compliance and efficiency.
Analyse and report on the Regulatory capital requirements for new business proposals (e.g. new market entry and new products)
Analyse the impact of new upcoming prudential regulations.
Support the implementation, improvement and operation of Regulatory Capital technology, related data and infrastructure.
Working with UK (FCA) and EU prudential regulations and reporting requirements
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to digest complex regulatory text and interpret their impact.
Polished report-writing and presentation skills
Experience working in Derivative Financial Instruments.
Upper 2:1 or above bachelor’s degree-level education with quants or maths focus
Experience in the following would be desirable:
Experience in prudential regulations in other major global jurisdictions outside the UK/EU.
Change experience, particularly execution of business acceptance tests.
Finance / Risk background strongly preferred
Experience working with complex datasets
