Regulatory Capital Analyst

Your responsibilities

• Provide review and challenge of the monthly and quarterly capital adequacy calculations for IG Group and its regulated subsidiaries in the UK & Europe for submission to the Regulator.

• Carry out thematic reviews of compliance with regulatory capital and other prudential requirements in all regulated jurisdictions globally.

• Support Business Controllers to understanding the drivers of regulatory financial requirements, explaining movements and recommending actions to maintain and improve both compliance and efficiency.

• Produce analysis of Regulatory Capital requirements and build modelling of requirements for new jurisdictions and products and new upcoming prudential risk and capital related regulations

• Prepare Capital forecasting and scenario stress testing for use in the annual ICARA process.

• Support the implementation, improvement and operation of Regulatory Capital technology, related data and infrastructure.

Role purpose

IG is seeking to recruit a Regulatory Capital Analyst within the Group Regulatory Capital team, acting as part of the 2nd line monitoring function of the Groups regulatory capital requirements, prudential compliance monitoring and internal/external regulatory reporting.
