Responsibility to carry out MIFID/SFTR/EMIR and other product regulatory onboarding tasks with high quality
Full understanding and analysis of the client structure and background in regards to its business with SEB
Communication directly with the client and client teams
Responsibility for analyzing, participating and presenting regulatory compliance matters in relevant committees
Escalation of exceptional cases or concerns
Supporting colleagues and acting as a subject matter expert in regulatory related questions towards the client teams and other stakeholders
Working according to set processes and continuously updating working instructions
Minimum 2 years of practical knowledge/work experience in EU financial services and markets regulations, especially MIFID, EMIR or SFTR
University degree in finance, operations, law or equivalent experience from Banking and Finance
Strong attention to details and excellent analytical ability
Good communication and collaboration skills
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks
Passion about providing excellent customer service internally as well as externally
Fluency in English – both verbal and written (C1/C2)
Preferably proficient in German or in one of the Nordic languages
Working in accordance with set processes and procedures
Strong MS Excel skills. Literacy in programming languages (Python/R) is a plus

About the job

We are looking for a team player that should have good analytical skills as well as the capability to support/establish processes, since new regulations/regulatory updates will continue to have an impact on the financial industry and its participants.
The product regulatory onboarding specialist will bring a strong working understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and will have a key role in securing adherence to regulations by performing Client Due Diligence tasks.
The role will require work in international teams and with global clients.
