What do you need to have?
- Previous experience as a Reporting Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst or other similar position related to developing reports, dashboards and board presentations in Looker and/or Tableau, Power BI, VBA
- Working knowledge of data management, visualization, analytics and building reporting solutions, including creating standardized reporting suites
- Experience in working with large datasets and presenting the information at multiple levels of detail
- Ability to design new technical solutions to enhance existing reports and tools
- Very good knowledge of SQL and data modelling
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
- Good knowledge with coding in Python
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical mindset and positive attitude
What will you be responsible for?
As a Reporting Developer you will responsible for managing development of reporting portfolio, as well creation of new reporting suites. The range of your responsibilities will include three areas:
Development of reports:
- Understanding business and functional requirements, manage expectations, present outcomes
- Supporting agile development of reporting suites in Tableau, Power BI and/or Looker
- Representing different dataset and analysis visually in the most intuitive and aesthetic manner
- Partnering with business stakeholders to understand the business drivers and develop intuitive and actionable visual analytics and reporting solutions
- Supporting design of the right SLAs and KPIs
- Designing and delivering end-user training and training material
Transformation and Continuous Improvement:
- Identifying opportunities to deliver new value-added services, advanced analytics, data visualisation and automation
- Updating and modifying existing reports to fit functional requirements and design principles for standardised reporting
- Supporting the reporting team and to drive transformation, standardisation, automation and self-service of reports
Delivery of suport:
- Providing technical support as necessary
- Working with data engineers and IT to inform needs for ongoing data source and data structure development
- Designing, developing and maintaining queries pulling data from multiple data sources, including associated performance tuning
