Work with the project/program manager, product manager, project sponsor to document the product’s vision and the project’s scope. Identify project stakeholders and user classes.
Elicit requirements using different methods, write requirements specifications according to standard templates, decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality.
Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.
Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete and that they conform to standards.
Participate in requirements prioritization, peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents.
Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process. Manage traceability information and track status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate from product and project management an overall product quality and effectiveness in the marketplace of the requirements after the product has been developed, gather feedback from key customer and take care of customer satisfaction measures.
Serve as the key contact for the product requirements to all project stakeholders, manage relationships with stakeholders, internal functions and external relevant parties.
An engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Computer Science. Master’s degree will be an advantage.
Around 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years in process industries like pulp & paper, cement, mining etc., or manufacturing industries.
Working knowledge of any Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) / Manufacturing Operations Management systems.
Interviewing, listening and analytical skills.
Conflict management, capability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders regularly.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Previous experience in requirement analysis or process domain specialist will be an advantage.
