Your responsibilities
- Knowledge and compliance with GxP rules as well as knowledge and compliance with applicable quality principles of Novartis. Interpretation of applicable laws, standards and guidelines in the field of GxP, in particular in the field of GDP and quality assurance; Monitoring and interpretation of up-to-date requirements of GxP as well as requirements of the pharmaceutical law with regard to products distributed in Novartis
- Ensuring that only products which are compliant with legal requirements, Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and the quality policy of Novartis group will be the subject of the distribution activity performed by Novartis. Providing opinions and assessments on matters affecting the quality of products distributed by Novartis;
- Organization, implementation and improvement of the quality assurance system with regard to products distributed by Novartis. Analysis of trends concerning the quality of products distributed by Novartis as well as initiation of corrective and/or preventive actions if negative trends are observed.
- Close cooperation with other departments of Novartis (warehouses, departments responsible for sales, logistics, registration, packaging development, etc.) in the improvement of the quality assurance system and in order to maintain continuity of deliveries to customers/patients.
- Cooperation with the office of the Main Pharmaceutical Inspector, Chief Sanitary Inspector, Province Pharmaceutical Inspectorates and quality assurance departments of companies affiliated with Novartis
- Coordination of the activities aimed for explaining the causes of complaints/ withdrawals/ recalls of products distributed by Novartis as well as cooperation, in this regard, with Polish authorities (e.g. Main Pharmaceutical Inspectorate, Office for Registration, National Medicines Institute, Chief Sanitary Inspectorate) and with companies affiliated with Novartis.
- Quality oversight on warehousing and distribution providers in line with GxP requirements as outlined in applicable Pharma Law
Our requirements
- Pharmacist by education, with active rights to practice
- Fluency in English and local language (oral and written), additional language(s) a plus
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in quality assurance in a pharmaceutical company
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Manager or Pharmacy Manager
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical law and regulations concerning manufacture and trade in medicinal products, supplements and medical devices, radiopharmaceutical products management is a plus
- Fulfilment of requirements on Responsible Pharmacist as outlined in Pharma Law
