Your responsibilities
- General Ledger related responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage GL entries (revenues, accruals, deferrals)/Verify the financial terms indicated in the clients’ contracts and apply them to accounting records
- Supporting month closure procedures
- Collaborate with various departments such as Business Partnering Services, Corporate and Local Accounting, Global Business, and others
- Assistance with annual and interim audit requests
- Assistance with accounting issues and queries
- Adhering to accounting standards and regulations
- Accounts Receivable related responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices with required journal entries
- Prepare financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Contact customers and businesses via email or telephone
- Collecting and maintaining records about upcoming payments
- Post incoming payments from customers
- Addressing any customer queries
- Vendor form maintenance
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
- Some working experience in a relevant field (accounting or finance)
- Know-how of basic accounting practices and legalities
- English level: Upper-Intermediate (good oral and written communication skills)
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (pivot, charts, formulas)
- Ability to quickly learn new processes
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and time-management skills
Optional
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- High level of knowledge of IFRS and / or US GAAP
- DipIFR / ACCA or similar certification
- SAP experience
