Your role:

  • Design low power Radio Frequency circuits and antennas for vehicle access systems (sub-GHz transmitters/receivers, LF immobilizer and keyless systems, NFC, 2.4 GHz BLE, 3-10 GHz UWB)

  • Cooperate with suppliers (component selection, design reviews)

  • Cooperate with customers during R&D, execution and integration phases (ideas, deliverables, packaging, requirements, problem solving)

  • Cooperate with other competencies within the organization (HW validation, SW functional testing, certification) to ensure the product meets high automotive quality standards

  • Design schematic and/or antenna

  • Participate, mentor and support the PCB layout drawing process

  • Perform worst case analysis (electrical, RF, link budget) to ensure compliance to customer system requirements

  • Verify the product on the laboratory and vehicle level 

  • Technical support of products in the field

  • Stay open-minded for new challenges and technologies

Your background:

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD Degree in Electronics / Electronics and Telecommunication / Computer Science

  • Experience in the design, development and testing of RF circuits and antennas

  • Radio Frequency circuit simulations

  • Analytical thinking

  • Good English language skills

Qualifications that increase your chances:

  • Ability to use RF measuring instruments: Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, RF generators

  • Experience in EMC/EMI measurements and problems solving

  • Experience with global and regional RF certification process (FCC, RED, other)

  • Experience with 2D/3D EM simulation tools (i.e. FEKO, Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST)

  • Experience in the design and development of embedded systems

  • Programming skills (i.e. Python, VBA, LabView, C, CAPL)

  • Knowledge about PCB manufacturing (preferred automotive market)

  • Italian, German or Swedish language skills
