Your responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site risk engineering surveys for existing and prospective Clients. Prepare detailed risk engineering survey reports.

  • Consult Clients on the ways to control hazards, in order to reduce or prevent losses; look for technically sound opportunities for improvement, in line with the client’s objectives; clearly articulate these opportunities in the reports.

  • Assume ownership of allocated surveys and assists in the follow-up of key improvement opportunities recommendations and ensures that risk engineering information database is up-to-date.

  • Maintain professional credibility and consistently demonstrate technical expertise and sound judgment.

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the assigned line(s) of business including process technology, loss prevention, construction and other related issues that may impact the risk decision-making process for clients and underwriters. It is expected to actively pursue professional development in order to develop and maintain knowledge in the areas they are working in.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for other consultants and account managers in various countries around the globe to help sell services by identifying opportunities and clients’ need.

Our requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in industrial surroundings and/or business insurance exposure.

  • Master or Bachelor degree in civil, mechanical, chemical or industrial engineering.

  • Good English writing and speaking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Very good negotiation skills.

  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with Clients, brokers, insurance underwriters and colleagues.

  • An investigative approach to gathering information needed.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; self-confidence and persuasive type of personality.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • A deep interest in commercial risk management, health and safety risk management.


  • French, Spanish or German skills

As a senior level Risk Consultant – Advisory Country Leader, you will be responsible for providing risk management solutions to meet our client needs. The candidate will be directly responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the most complex clients, providing them with comprehensive consulting knowledge and services.
