Your responsibilities
Our mission is to support Euroclear in achieving its goals and delivering its strategy through providing robust, independent oversight of risk-taking activities across the Euroclear group.
We report functionally to the Chairman of the Group board Risk Committee and day to day to the Group CEO. The risk management team is based in Brussels, London, Paris, Krakow or Hong Kong and our activities cover the entire Euroclear group. The risk data expert is based in the Brussels or Krakow Team.
Your part of the deal:
We are extending our Risk Data capabilities in Risk Management. The key role of the Risk Data Expert is to support Risk Management making more efficient use of data, through automation, improvement of data quality and optimization of the usage of available data tools.
Your objective:
Analyse and automate existing data flows and reports
Coaching on best practices for reporting and data processing
Defining and implementing Data Quality controls
You are willing to come on a regular base to Brussels to meet the stakeholders in person (10%)
Our requirements
You have worked for at least 5 years in the financial industry and have a technical profile in data processing. Knowledge of Risk Management, finance, banking or IT is an important advantage.
You are able to analyse and understand existing data flows, detect oportunities for automation and you can describe the solution in technical terms.
You are familiar with reporting, data processing and collaboration tools like Power BI, Excel, Python, Sharepoint.
You can easily navigate between business processes and IT concepts.
You have a passion for data and its added value for Euroclear and you have the strong desire to transform the Euroclear culture into a data culture.
You can work autonomously.
You are a team-player and able to work with other teams across Euroclear to reach a common objective.
You apply a pragmatic approach to deliver result in a steady pace.
You are hands on: you understand possibilities, technical limitations, and you can propose different options.
You are aware and sensitive to data quality issues.
A strong command of English is required.
