Our mission is to support Euroclear in achieving its goals and delivering its strategy through providing robust, independent oversight of risk-taking activities across the Euroclear group. The Risk Management team is based in Brussels, London, Paris, Krakow or Hong Kong and our activities cover the entire Euroclear group. The Risk Data & Intelligence team supports Risk Management in all their data needs, such as Advanced Analytics, Data Visualisation and Data Management. The Risk Data Management Expert will reinforce the Risk Data & Intelligence team and is based in the Brussels or Krakow Team.

To strengthen our team we are looking for new colleagues who will support us in the following areas :

• Documenting and ensuring the maintenance of the data lineage and quality controls, including data definitions and ownership, using methodology provided by Data Management Office for the Risk Management Division; You provide status and reporting blocking points.

• Capturing information needed for the data lineage through existing documentation or by interviewing business experts to understand how they’re creating/updating data and to understand their business processes.

• Coaching and training people with data roles in Risk Management, to ensure the data documentation remains up-to-date, is efficiently being used and to support the change process of the data transformation.

• Identifying new areas to extend the data documentation in Risk Management.

• Contribute to the setup and review of the data topics in Euroclear’s policies and policy handbooks.

• Acting as the Data Steward Authority for Risk Management to shape the Data Governance for Euroclear and being the contact for data management topics for the Data Management Office, contributing divisions and IT.

• Supporting the Risk Managers and be the reference for the Data Governance and Quality topics for Risk Assessments/Opinions.
