    We Offer
    The UK IB CRO COO Control and Governance Team is responsible for maintaining and monitoring a strong governance and control framework for the UK IB Risk function. The team forms part of the overall UK IB CRO COO team and this role will be responsible for monitoring a core part of the Risk function’s control framework, providing oversight of key control and governance processes and ensuring these are operating effectively.


    This role will provide you with an opportunity to develop a breadth of knowledge across the Risk function and have involvement in a number of processes and other initiatives. In addition, the team is part of the broader COO team within Risk, therefore providing further career development opportunities in the longer term.

    • You will contribute to delivering the various responsibilities of the Functional Risk Control Officer, supporting the UK legal entities, as part of the bank-wide risk and control framework. This will include monitoring of issue remediation and performing quality assurance reviews, investigating operational risk incidents, external incident review and analysis and internal control testing.
    • You will prepare clear, concise reporting and analysis which can be provided to the management team and key business partners across the department.
    • You will identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains, implement new processes as require.
