For our Client, a well-known international sporting goods retailer, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Sales & Business Development Specialist / Manager (E-commerce), who will take an active role in the acquisition and development of sellers on the marketplace platform.
Your responsibilities
acquisition of new business partners (sellers) under the sales model on the online marketplace platform (Decathlon),
understanding the market, its players (brands, resellers, pure-players, marketplaces, competitors, etc.),
detecting the trends and opportunities on market,
prospecting efficiently, maintaining a fresh and active pipeline of leads according to targets, seasonality and commerce,
adapting my approach according to seller potential and stakes: cold-calling, physical meetings, LinkedIn, and mail,
conducting meetings, negotiations and establishing terms of cooperation,
mastering the commercial argumentation and objection to convince the seller to join,
leading the meeting to gather all required information to score the seller (maturity checklist),
supervising the onboarding process of acquired Partners,
maintaining good relations with Partners,
scoring the seller according to united scoring card,
keeping my pipeline up-to-date: data quality, closing, contacts, and so on,
co-creating business strategy for the development of Decathlon Marketplace,
preparing reports and providing qualitative data,
evolving with the related Sports ecosystem.
Employer requirements
knowledge of English at the level of min. B1/B2,
experience in attracting business partners,
knowledge of the business model of selling on the online marketplace platform,
knowledge of the area, e-commerce marketplace and integration methods,
knowledge of basic KPIs in the digital area,
knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace,
analytical skills,
independence and ability to make decisions accurately,
initiative and proactivity in action,
high ability to organize own work and set priorities.
