Sales Communication Senior Specialist

The Sales Communication Specialist will be responsible for creation and deployment of engaging and informative communications to QIAGEN’s sales force. The focus of this role will be the support of the Sales Enablement team and the established sales communication/enablement strategy:

  • Support the bridging of communication gaps and enablement of QIAGEN’s sales force by providing product, marketing, training information and content.
  • Plan, edit and write content for internal sales communications via email, blog and other channels.
  • Manage content upload and publication by using internal Content Management Systems and email tools.
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement Managers and play a key role in the sales communication process.
  • Execute on an ongoing editorial plan as well as ensure timely content delivery.
  • Collect, review and organize incoming content from various internal sources.
  • Draft messages or scripts for internal video content, emails, social posts.
  • Be responsible for user support for internal digital asset management platforms.
  • Support the creation of guidelines and templates.
  • Support the design and reporting of internal surveys.
  • Collect data from communication tools and prepare detailed communication reports.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in using CMS systems, digital asset management platforms, and video platforms.
  • Excellent writing skills in English; experienced copywriter for digital channels.
  • Enjoys collaborating with teams, edit and publish content on a timely basis.
  • Working knowledge of HTML development preferred.
  • Possesses a natural communication mindset.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analysis tools.
  • BS/MS degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications or similar industry (or equivalent experience).

Personal Requirements

  • Fluent in English.
  • Extremely self-organized working style and ability to work across functions and in international teams.
  • Very detail-oriented and meticulous when it comes to editing and publishing content.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to commit to tough deadlines.
