Your responsibilities

  • DBAM Team

  • Develops and ensures attainment of new sales/revenue and margin growth for low billing accounts supported by a team of desk-based account managers which contribute to the company’s bottom line. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the assigned area, and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for customers and Account Directors.

  • Develops and maintains account plans and detailed financial forecasts. Conducts accurate sales forecasts, and achieves sales targets.

  • Develops and executes sales plans such as sector strategies, hiring plans, territory management systems, and compensation plans.

  • Supports and develops initiatives across Sales and the company primarily focused on sales productivity and efficiency. Expands opportunities into untapped product portfolios and develops sales propositions.

  • Pricing Team

  • The principal objective of the role is to lead, mentor and coach a dedicated Pricing Team within the EMEA Wholesale & Indirect channel to support high quality and fast turnaround of customer quotations. Reporting directly into the role are a team of Pricing Specialists located in various locations across Europe (Poznan and UK)This role and all roles reporting to it are critical to the success of Lumen and our Customers “Buy” experience, therefore the role holder must be customer focused, independently motivated and take full ownership of results, with the ability to operate in a challenging environment with competing priorities.

  • Provide monthly reporting and metrics on the output and performance of the team

  • Implement strategic initiatives for CX and process improvements meeting with key stakeholders regularly to review feedback on the teams work.

  • Drive Process improvement, LEAN and Automation activities in order to remove waste and add value to the teams processes with a specific focus on speed and quality of quotations

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated sales management experience (at least 5-6 years) in telecommunications sales and sales leadership experience.

  • Business/financial background is helpful.

  • Exceptional strategic planning, account management and contract negotiations skills required.

  • Experience is consultative sales techniques and account planning (including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long range account management strategies.

  • A track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals.

  • Success leading and managing sales teams.

  • Proven ability to hire, manage, mentor and motivate successful, solution oriented sales teams.

  • Strong record in developing and assigning geographic territories and customer/prospect modules.

The Role

This is a senior management role, responsible for leading two desk-based teams:

Direct management of 5 x desk-based account managers (DBAMS) located in Poznan responsible for the EMEA region’s low billing Wholesale customer base (over 1000 customers). Total global revenue responsibility of $19m per annum.

Management of a pricing team leader and 7 x pricing specialists.
