Your responsibilities

  • Manage the sales & marketing department, in order to produce the desired results

  • Build multiple channels of communication and marketing strategy to grow the revenue and increase profits, expanding our customer base for sponsoring, advertising, ticket selling, merchandizing, academy & gastronomy

  • Manage sales & marketing department procedures, checklists & dashboards to monitor KPI

  • Drive sponsors, advertisers & partners acquisition

  • Elaborate persuasive presentations & creative sponsorship & advertising proposals to obtain new sponsors & advertisers for the club. Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails. Explain what we can offer, providing specific advertising benefits and return on investment numbers. Successfully negotiate and win sponsorships & advertising deals

  • Build relationships with potential sponsors, Polonia Warszawa partners, VIPs & important influencers. Develop close relationships with prospects & customers decision makers (CEO & CMO), advertising & media agencies. Manage day-to-day needs of VIPs & sponsors

  • Oversee sponsor contracts, invoicing, and accounts receivable & develop processes to ensure execution and payment collections. Process all correspondence and paperwork related to sponsors & advertisers

  • When matches transmission are done by external media company (TVP Sport, WP Pilot), sell advertisement in the stadium

  • Drive Ticket selling

  • Increase the number of tickets sold. Maximize frequency & stadium seats utilization

  • Implement & manage efficient ticket sales promotion campaigns

  • Operation of the ticket system and support in the sale of tickets / passes stationary to fans

  • Drive Polonia Warszawa’s apparel/gadget/merchandising selling

  • Build attractive apparels & gadgets offering. Sell this merchandising to Polonia’s fans & kids from our academy. Increase revenue, profits and maximize customers’ satisfaction

  • Manage selling via our Polonia website / e-commerce tool + physical selling to our fans & academy members in K6

  • Logistics – in the right place and on time. Plan order delivery, track completion and arrange transport of goods to clients. Optimize warehouse management. Supervises stock inventory

  • Assure efficient customer service & maximize customers satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints. Build positive relations with Polonia’s fans. Obtain feedback from them regularly, as well as interesting ideas or improvement propositions

  • Manage Polonia TV & match transmission

  • When Polonia delivers match transmission, manage all production activities and operations for Polonia Warszawa TV station. Optimize costs (people, equipment, servers). Invite interesting guests & provide pre & post matches interviews. Promote and grow Polonia Warszawa TV business, revenue & profit

  • Polonia Communication Lead

  • Build and publish contents which defend club interest and club core values, according to Club’s President vision & expectations

  • Manage communication & promotion plan/schedule/procedures/checklist: website content, news, interviews, social media, procedures, checklist (for match promotion)

  • Manage & develop social media profiles & content, seek to increase number of followers

  • Manage CRM database. Increase number of CRM contacts. Take care of proper segmentation, data quality & marketing automation. Run mass mailings and newsletter campaigns

  • Manage fan community. Manage fans requests. Strengthen fans engagement. Build positive relationships with Polonia’s fans but also be strict with fans, who don’t respect our rules, are against club’s interest, or behave against our core values

  • Manage & develop relations with media & journalists. Organize Press Releases and Press conferences

  • Resolve problems when they occur. Manage crisis communication when needed

  • Manage cooperation with graphics team and video team. Drive preparation of materials with the graphics and video specialists. Manage our marketing content warehouse (film shooting & pictures) with efficient search engines

  • Support in the organization of the match day

Our requirements

  • Proven experience working as Business Developer or Sales Representative

  • Sound knowledge of sales & marketing principles and techniques

  • Excellent selling/business development & marketing skills. Commercial awareness. Strong negotiation skills

  • Crazy ambition, huge motivation and a fighting spirit

  • Hands-on ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment

  • Ability to recruit good, smart, and nice people

  • Good financial management awareness & skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods. Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights & weekends

  • Remain calm in stressful situations. Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities. Be able to work with diverse personalities (fans) and diffuse tense situations. Decisiveness

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Charisma, positive energy, can-do attitude, and enthusiasm. Make contacts & friends easily. Help other colleagues from other departments (sport, gastronomy, finance, administration, merchandising, stadium) when needed

  • A person who knows how to be firm, tough & strict, when necessary, with certain supporters or fans who do not respect the interests or the core values of the club. Someone who is not afraid of receiving criticism, not scared to have haters among fans when defending the club’s interests. Remain calm in stressful situations. Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities. Able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations. Decisiveness

  • Preferably previous experience in an advertising, event, media company or a marketing agency

  • Master’s degree
